Second Nature

Todays photo problem. How to take pictures of snow on the fruit trees (mentioned yesterday) whilst trying to use off camera flash and avoiding being pelted with snow balls by the children.

Answer. I let my daughter hold the flash at a low level and direct up at the trees to capture the transparent nature of the snow. I also wanted to capture the fact that the buds had opened and that the trees were now ready to blossom. Friday it was 17C in the garden we had to put suntan cream on and the trees had really started to flower. Today it started frosty and then snowed for hours, a good couple of inches. I still got pelted with snow balls.
