I Saw the Light

This is one of the pictures from the Audiences London shoot. I did not want the pictures to be too corporate because they are a friendly arts data resource company that helps many establishments to get "bums on seats". I did nine portraits and a few group shots too.

The lighting for this was done by using 2 soft discs as a back lights and one soft box to light the face. I tended to use a high aperture and speed because even though the lights were turned down 4 stops they were very close to the subject due to space restrictions. The Profilux 400s performed really well and held together for over 4 hours of shooting, no over heating and no visible loss of light balance. I used a wall in one of the training rooms as a backdrop. There was quite a bit of natural light too which kept changing because of the thunder storms that day.

Pictures were taken in black and white and colour.
