On a photoshoot recently I took this picture of Dec who is the dad of the two children I was taking pictures of. There was a certain look I was after. I was trying to emulate the style of Clay Enos and in particular the black & white stills he did for the Watchmen film. He also created a Streetstudio based on the work that he did for those black and white pictures.
I used only natural light and a F1.8 85mm lens. There has been some editing but generally this is the shot. I liked the picture so much I have put it in my portfolio on the Simon Jay Price Photography website I also took some great pictures of the children and they are in a private portfolio for the family to view on my other website dedicated to portraits and weddings. One or two pictures will appear here soon.
